Monday, 28. October 2019 Departure

LX176 to SIN is the last scheduled flight of the evening and after 22:00 we start with boarding. It is the first time in a long time that we were flying in Y-Class on a long-haul flight. Row 25 is pretty much the beginning of Y-Class, but still not less tight. The hatrack still has enough space and it is no problem to stow our hand luggage. The third seat in the row (25A) is occupied by a French woman who has arrived from Paris and then flies from SIN onward to Auckland after 4 hours. Until she is there, it will take her 27 hours.

Actually we just wanted to sleep, but it's too tight to be really cozy
so we still eat. Afterwards we both try to sleep, which only works partly. Some time during the night I get up to go to the toilet and almost collapse in the corridor because my legs don't really want to walk. But after managing 2 steps, they work again.
